Although the curriculum is extensive, everyone learns at a pace that is comfortable for them. There is a saying in Tai Chi &#8211;\u00a0&#8220;Slow learning is quick progress, fast learning is slow progress&#8221;.\u00a0A strong emphasis is placed on feeling and understanding the principles or concepts of Tai Chi through supplementary exercises and interactive partner work. Absorbing the concepts deepens the practice of the tai chi form, which enhances one&#8217;s strength and health benefits.<\/p>\n<p>A typical class will involve:<\/p>\n<p>Standing meditative postures<\/p>\n<p>Exercises to improve strength, suppleness, and balance (chi gung\u00a0and\u00a0nei gung\u00a0routines)<\/p>\n<p>Practice of the tai chi forms<\/p>\n<p>Interactive partner
